bibidibopitibibidibopiti-boom! or something.

joseph, i'm proud to say that i belong to the hopeless-romantic demographic too. mushy people unite! hehehehe=)

either last year's hall play raised the bar a bit too high, or this year's hall play was, well...just ok. not that i don't appreciate the play at all. in fact, i do. it was a bit shaky at first, added to the fact that i'm not really into musicals. but i've come to enjoy it somehow. i liked the songs (which were all original), and the way they incorporated contemporary lingo into shakspearean spiel. most of the cast members portrayed their roles quite well too.

i also appreciate the fact that behind that hall production is a lot of hard work; though sometimes, things just don't turn out the way you expect them to be. some people who have everything going perfectly for them may not understand this fact about life.

i do NOT think that going to the play was a waste of money, or a waste of time. that play was for a cause. i know that my twelve bucks would go a long way for those children with cancer. letting me watch a hall production was just the cherry on top of a sundae. cherry or no cherry, a sundae is still a sundae. it was not a waste of time because i spent it with my friends. raise an eye brow at me and i'll just wink at you.

i DO think that complaining about the play within the premises of where it is being held AND within earshot of those who relentlessly worked hard for it is improper and a waste of saliva and energy. but then, that is just what i think. it is perfectly valid for other people to think otherwise.

oh yeah, what victor did was really SWEET. he kissed his girlfriend (who was the producer of the play) on stage during the curtain call for everyone to see.
