First of all, I praise the Lord for the recently concluded semester - for its ups and downs, the whole package. I thank God for always being with me, for being true to His promise of never leaving me nor forsaking me. I appreciate His help in making me have my old study habits back, after I sort of 'lost' them during my bridging year, which was sort of a one-whole-year-all-expenses-paid vacation to Singapore with a modicum of the period alloted to studies.

Anyway, I just got my iBook back. It died during the exam period, which I see as a blessing in disguise because my major distraction had been taken care of. I went to the Apple Service Center at Ang Mo Kio last Monday, and I had my iBook back the next day. Kudos to Kevin the engineer who made a speedy repair, because I told them I'd be flying home on Wednesday (oh yeah lor! and that is TODAY!). Normally it would take up at least four days up to a whole week, but because I am pretty Apple has an excellent customer service, I can have my dose of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. during my flight.

What else? I have so much to write about. I am so impressed with AutoCAD 2006 because it is so smart! But unlike my classmates, I do not have AutoCAD installed in my computer because THERE IS NO AUTOCAD FOR MAC! yeah lor mac is not for engineering students i tell you. Suitable for business students who make a lot of presentations because Mac is equipped with all those watchamacallit chuvaness that make presentations whooowalaueh!!! ok whatever.

Macromedia Dreamweaver is fantastic. I'm no HTML wizard but suddenly my groupmates dubbed me as 'IT expert' of our group because I provided the template for our fictitious engineering firm website. Actually I just copied the code from one of the engineering firms in the internet and edited it to suit our group using Dreamweaver, and voila! I know our website still looks pathetic to our standards, but it's a good start as we only had one Dreamweaver crash course anyway (ditto for Fireworks and Flash). I am keen on learning more about them so that my CV won't be so devoid of IT skills.

Ey I cannot stop thinking about Robinson. He is so dear to me because he reminds of my only brother. I used to tell him that every time I meet him. If I'd be staying here in Singapore for a little bit more I'd visit him in the hospital everyday until he gets well enough to get out. So yeah, Ivy or Joseph, please update me about Robinson okay. He'll be in my prayers too for sure.

Okay I am super hungry. I'm waiting for Sundeep now, who is happily eating with his friends at the prata shop. But it's okay coz he'll be buying me cheese prata. If he comes back empty-handed the consequences are dire! haha..he left when I was packing my stuff. He's coming back to help me transport all my stuff to his room because the storage room here at PGP won't be open til 5th of December. Since he doesn't mind me dumping all the contents of my room in his, might as well take the opportinity haha.

Im going to miss my Wyldfire pips. Im going to miss Singapore.

Oh yeah, Sundeep is going to FRANCE!!! He'll be living my dream. He's going there for exchange during our 3rd year 2nd sem. Aiyoh Im so envious of him. Siaw Ling is also going to Autralia. Gavin, Ewei, Boon Sern are all going to Denmark. I used to say 'I do not have any regrets in life', but guess what? I do have regrets, and one of them is not realizing sooner that Singapore can be my TICKET to the rest of the world. See, I cannot go for exchange because I AM NOT QUALIFIED! Here goes another bout of my If I didn't screw up my first year... monologues.

Wait my cheese prata is here yoohoo.

Grateful Heart

Man I miss blogging. I know I mentioned I won't be blogging til the 25th. But if you have a great God you cannot just keep quiet about Him. Thank you Father for my first ever A+ in anything (this time it's only an assignment I worked hard for, but I hope I'll get a taste of A+ for a final grade one day). Thank you Father for sustaining Sundeep, Rotana, and me while we did our GIS lab from 9 am - 12 midnight straight (save for meal breaks) in the computer lab (yes we were already helping each other out, but it still took us that loooooong to figure out how to do the assignment). Thank you because in the midst of this mad mugging season, my sanity is still intact. I can't possibly enumerate all the wonderful things You've done, so I'll just sum it up with 'Thank you Father for everything.'

In the name of Jesus, I declare victory in my coming exams. All glory and praise to God alone. Amen.
